What Is Lead Collection in AI Chat
Your AI agent doesn't just answer questions — it can qualify visitors and collect contact details naturally during the conversation. No forms to fill out: the user simply chats, and the agent asks for what it needs at the right moment.
The result: a lead with a name, phone number, or email is saved in Auralix and can be forwarded to your CRM or sent by email.
Step 1: Open Lead Collection Settings
- Log in to Auralix → your project
- Go to Agent → Contact Collection
- Enable contact collection
Step 2: Choose Which Fields to Collect
Select the fields you need:

Fewer required fields = higher conversion. For most businesses, a name plus one contact channel is enough.
Step 3: Set the Trigger
Configure when the agent asks for contact details:
- After N messages — e.g., after the user sends 2 questions
- On purchase intent — when the user asks about price, terms, or availability
- Always at the start — the agent introduces itself and asks for a name right away
We recommend "after 2 messages": the user is already engaged but not yet fatigued.
Step 4: Write the Request Phrase
This is the message the agent sends when it asks for contact information. Keep it natural:
To pass your question to a manager, could you share your name and a phone number or email?
Avoid corporate-sounding phrases like "Please complete the form." Conversational language works better.
Step 5: Configure Notifications
After a lead is saved, Auralix can:
- Send you an email notification
- Forward the data to your CRM via Webhook
Set up notifications under Integrations → Notifications so you never miss a lead.
FAQ
What if the user doesn't want to share contact details? The agent doesn't block the conversation. If the user declines, the chat continues — the contact just isn't saved.
Where are collected leads stored? In the Leads section of your Auralix project. You can also export them as CSV.
Can I add custom fields? Yes — custom form fields are available on Pro plans and above.
Will the agent ask returning users for their contact again? If the user is already identified by their channel (e.g., Telegram ID), the request is not shown again.
